Can You Hear My Heartbeat Chapter 45 preview

Since I couldn't decide on a snippet to preview the next chapter of my YOI novelisation, I give you some hints in form of two totally unrelated things that will make a brief appearance in the chapter:

A famous retired figure skater

I've been trying to mimic his speech pattern and mannerisms based on the interviews I've seen, we'll see how that comes across lol. But since he won't be around for too long, any clumsy attempts at including a living, breathing human shouldn't disturb the reading experience.

2. And a reference to one of my favourite books, which I have referenced before

My apologies, I have only the German version at home. Of course, all quotes are taken from the English translation.

As always, the chapter will be up on Wednesday night, and I will post, no matter what earth-shattering major calamities might occur in the meantime.
